The Rhineland

With its beautiful scenery, friendly people and exceptional concert venues, the Rhineland has all the ingredients for a memorable Brass Band Tour. It’s not by coincidence that the Rhine is one of the most highly recommended destinations for brass band performances. This charming region is home to picturesque villages, romantic castles and famous wine-growing districts. Sit back and relax with a glass of locally produced Riesling whilst taking in the view on a cruise along the Rhine River, perfect after a day of performing! Cologne is also a fascinating city which has something for everyone including excellent shopping, great museums and many riverside bars and cafés, serving the delicious local speciality Kölsch beer. Our tours concentrate mainly on the Rhine Valley between Rüdesheim and Koblenz, where the Rhine converges with the Moselle at the famous Deutsches Eck. Audiences are plentiful and enthusiastic in a region renowned for its appreciation of brass music. The Rhineland offers a fantastic selection of venues with receptive audiences in abundance.

One of the original spa resorts in the region, Bad Neuenahr is a great venue for an indoor or outdoor concert. The stage revolves to allow either possibility depending on the weather! This is a stylish venue with a well-attended weekly concert series.

Florinskirche, Koblenz

One of our favourite venues in the region, the Florinskirche offers a warm welcome to all visiting performers. The church is host to a series of concerts throughout the year and its fantastic acoustics are well suited to brass performances. The regular audiences always flock to hear a visiting band.
