Brass Band Tour Information

Concerts and Audiences

For over 32 years, we’ve built up an ever-increasing network of concert organisers, who are there to make your performances succeed. The variety of people we work with in resort ensures that we’ll always find a venue ideally suited to your style and standard. We request the concerts at the time which will attract the biggest audience, and distribute our eye-catching publicity in advance of each performance.

In addition, we send out press releases to the local papers and ‘what’s on guides’ and your courier will take additional handbills for on the spot publicity.

Transporting your Instruments

We know how much room your instruments (including your timps and percussion) and equipment take up in the hold of a coach. That’s why all the prices for the coach tours in this brochure include an instrument trailer, meaning that you don’t have to worry about how you’ll fit everything in on the morning you depart! If you’re taking a smaller group, we'll liaise between you and your contracted coach company to discuss whether you'll need a trailer.

If you're flying, we recommend that you arrange for a couple of your band members to drive a van across to your destination with your instruments. Many of our groups do this every year and agree that it’s the safest and most economical way to transport instruments over long distances. Even the scheduled airlines can be very strict about what you can and can’t take as hand luggage, and excess baggage could end up costing your band a small fortune! We also know how valuable your instruments are and many of our regular groups prefer the peace of mind of knowing who is looking after them on the journey to their destination. Of course, we'll assist your van drivers with the routes and overnight accommodation.

Couriers

All tours are accompanied by a courier: it simply makes your job as group leader much easier! They liaise with the hotel and concert venues, discuss your itinerary with the drivers and introduce your concerts. Many are musicians and all speak the language of the country you are visiting (apart from the Netherlands and Belgium), leaving you free to concentrate on the performance and of course the all important social aspects of the tour.

24 Hour Service

Our knowledge, experience and history come together to create a memorable and rewarding concert tour. You won’t find any hidden extras in our prices - we will give you a clear price from the start, and unlike other operators will not impose any currency surcharges after the tour is booked.

Our support doesn't end when you get there - in the unlikely event of a problem that can't be resolved on the spot, we have a dedicated 24hr contact number for senior staff.

Financial Security

Rayburn Tours are ABTA bonded and can therefore guarantee total financial security. Booking with an ABTA bonded company like ours ensures peace of mind and guarantees financial security in the unlikely event of financial failure. In addition, our air travel packages are ATOL protected, (we hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority) which further secures your investment when travelling by air.

Once you have received your quote, it is important that you check all the inclusions carefully so that any amendments you require can be tailored into the quotation process.

Step 3 - Approval

Following quotation approval, if required we can provide you with the SMS Policies and Risk Assessments relating to your tour. We can also provide you with PowerPoint Presentations to present the tour to your group, fundraising ideas and concepts or even have one of our Tour Co-ordinators give a presentation to parents or party members to promote the tour.
