Prague

Often referred to as the “City of a Hundred Spires”, Prague boasts grand palaces and ornate baroque churches linked by winding medieval streets all dominated by the magnificent castle overlooking the city. Whether you prefer to discover Prague by foot along its well-established walkways, on the scenic tram services running to all points of the city or on one of the many cruises along the Vltava River, this majestic city has something for every member of your choir. Outside Prague, the Czech Republic has much to offer; from the elegant spa towns of Western Bohemia to the historic castles and monasteries of the Southern regions, the variation of tours available are almost limitless. Our partnership with a Prague-based concert promoter and his specialist team, who provide sparkling concert locations and flawless arrangements, ensures that your visit is a truly memorable choral experience.

St. Vitus' Cathedral at Prague Castle

Participating in mass at the magnificent Catholic cathedral of St. Vitus at Prague Castle is an awe-inspiring experience for all involved.

Czech Museum of Music and Hlahol Hall

A more distinctive venue is the Czech Museum of Music, where concerts are held in the atrium of the museum. Alternatively, Hlahol Hall is an Art Nouveau venue built specifically for choirs.

St Nicholas - Prague

A highlight for many choirs is the opportunity to perform in this beautiful Baroque church, located in the heart of the Old Town Square.

Outside Prague

We highly recommend that you perform outside Prague to experience the peerless hospitality of the local Czech towns and to gain some sense of the Czech Republic outside the capital. Great venues include the Catholic church in Lysa nad Lablem, the Decanal Church in Tabor and the hall in the spa town of Podêbrady.

Prague Castle

Enter Prague’s most famous landmark by the Matthias Gate and watch the changing of the guards. Visit St. Vitus’ Cathedral, the largest church in Prague and don’t miss the quaint little Goldmakers’ Lane with its tiny coloured houses.

Dinner Cruise

An evening cruise along the River Vltava takes you past many of Prague’s historic buildings as you enjoy a buffet meal and view the city illuminated under the night sky.

Old Town

Visit the famous Prague Old Town Square and see the Astronomical Clock and Tyn Church with its famous towers.

Kutna Hora

Descend into the former silver mines, now a museum, or visit the macabre “Bone Church” in Sedlec and the amazing Gothic cathedral of Kutna Hora. This trip works particularly well with an afternoon or evening concert in the spa hall in Podêbrady.

Karlovy Vary

Make sure you don’t miss the Mill and Spring Colonnades or the hot springs themselves. Take the cable railway to the Diana Tower for views of the town and a restaurant lunch before shopping for famous Bohemian crystal in the city’s pedestrian area.
