The Rhineland

Beautiful scenery, friendly people and exceptional concert venues combine wonderfully to make the Rhineland a memorable concert tour for your choir. Relax with a glass of locally produced wine whilst admiring the view on a cruise along the river or visit the Marksburg Castle, one of the most impressive medieval castles in the area. Cologne is a truly fascinating city which provides something for everyone including excellent shopping, great museums and many riverside bars and cafes, serving the local Kölsch beer. Just south of Cologne, Bonn provides its visitors with a variety of historic locations including the ever-popular museum that occupies the house in which Beethoven was born.

The Rhineland offers a flexible and varied range of venues, allowing choirs to mix serious repertoire with opportunities to let their hair down with some lighter numbers! Male voice choirs are especially well received, as this style of singing is particularly popular in this area of Germany.

Koblenz and Boppard Churches

We have long-standing relationships with the churches in these towns and they are happy to accept any programme. Some of our favourites are the Florinskirche in the heart of Koblenz, and the historic St Severus in Boppard. Their loyal congregations provide appreciative audiences.

Cologne Cathedral

A short recital can be arranged in Cologne Cathedral; a highlight for most of our groups. Exceptional cathedral choirs may be able to participate in a service of worship, subject to audition.

All Saints Anglican Church, Cologne

This modern church with delightful acoustics offers an excellent organ and holds a regular series of well-promoted concerts. The church is very happy to consider a wide range of repertoire.

Spa Towns

The many spa complexes in the area have a regular concert series and our groups are encouraged to perform as a part of these. Concerts are well publicised and attract warm, appreciative audiences. Many of these venues boast excellent pianos and are set in beautiful countryside.

Wine Tasting

We can arrange a tasting for your group at any one of the vineyards, or in the surroundings of a local castle.

Cologne

Don’t miss a day in the region’s capital with a chance to appreciate the world-famous cathedral and soak up the convivial atmosphere for which the city is renowned.

Rhine Steamer Cruises

An ideal way to take in the sights of the region in a relaxed atmosphere. Marvel at the many castles perched high on the rocky crags and admire the famous Loreley Rock. Many of our groups enjoy an informal sing on the river!

Weindorf (Wine Village)

To round off your tour in style, we can organise a meal at the riverside Weindorf, where typical German fare is served, accompanied by the local wine.

Prices from £299*
