Venice

Venice is undoubtedly one of the world’s most stunning cities, offering wonderful concert and sightseeing opportunities for you and your choir. Take a private boat to the three islands of the Venetian lagoon, discover the history and true culture of the city through a guided tour or visit famous buildings such as the Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s Basilica. If you wish to go further afield, make your journey to the summer Opera Festival of Verona, set in the 2000 year old Roman amphitheatre in the heart of the city.

St Mark’s Basilica

The highlight for any choir with a sacred repertoire has to be the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing mass at St. Mark’s Basilica. Performances are a cappella and always a memorable experience.

Basilica of SS Giovanni and Paolo

A favourite performance venue for our choir groups, this is one of Venice’s most famous churches. Concerts are always successful here thanks to the warm, friendly welcome and fantastic audiences.

Venice's Churches

Choirs can also perform in some of Venice’s other resplendent churches, including the Church of the Redentore and the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli.

Marostica

Located outside Venice, the town of Marostica hosts an annual music festival throughout the summer months and welcomes visiting choirs for concerts in its churches, or on the more informal church steps.

St. Mark's Basilica

Architecturally splendid, it contains a magnificent gold and jewel-studded altar and impressive treasury.

Doge's Palace

The former ducal residence contains spectacular art work including the world’s largest oil painting by Tintoretto.

Campanile

Climb to the top of this 325ft bell tower for superb views over the whole city and lagoon.

The Rialto Bridge

The oldest bridge in Venice, it gives a splendid view up and down the Grand Canal.

"Three Island" private motor boat trip

Visit Murano, famous for its glass blowing, Burano for its traditional embroidery and lace-making and the stunning cathedral on Torcello.

Treviso

A beautiful walled town with a lively commercial centre.
