Band Tours to The Black Forest
Find yourselves immersed in traditional German culture within the Black Forest. Sampling the local Black Forest Gateau is an experience not to be missed, whilst a visit to the world’s largest cuckoo clock grants an insight into the past when the region was famous for its wood-carving industry.
Many of our groups enjoy a day trip to Strasbourg in France, home of the European parliament – its historic centre and shops will definitely please the shopaholics amongst your group! The Black Forest area offers a great variety of excursions, from open air museums to exciting white knuckle rides at Europapark – there really is something for everyone in this beautiful region.
Where to Play
Our favourite venue:
Lake Titisee Stage
Like many of the purpose built stages in the area, the Titisee stage projects sound out into the audience through the design of the roof. This well-designed stage also offers the added bonus of shelter for your band and the audience, making it a perfect all-weather venue. Its beautiful lakeside setting creates a striking backdrop and your group can enjoy touring the gardens after the performance.
Baden-Baden
Follow in the footsteps of the crowned heads of Europe as you visit and perform in one of the two spectacular venues in Baden-Baden. With an outdoor stage and concert hall within the stunning Kurgarten (pavilion gardens), it’s no surprise that local audiences here often number in the hundreds.
Schönwald Hall and Outdoor Stage
Performers in this fine modern concert hall can be offered an alternative outdoor stage in the gardens making it suitable throughout the year. Concerts can take place in the day or evening here and, afterwards, the attractive small town of Schönwald in the heart of the Black Forest is great for a leisurely promenade.
Kurhaus in Bad Krozingen
This superbly designed modern concert hall is set in the tranquil town of Bad Krozingen. With its small shops, pedestrianised centre and quaint market place, a stroll around the town before taking in the gardens surrounding the venue is a must.
What to Do
Boat Cruise on Lake Titisee
After an afternoon performance, why not relax on a boat cruise on the lake.
Black Forest Open Air Museum, Vogtsbauernhof
Set in a delightful location, the museum has many features to attract and entertain visitors including craft demonstrations and important cultural assets from the region.
Strasbourg Day Trip
Just a short journey takes you to the city of Strasbourg; wander the narrow streets in the area of Saint-Michel, visit Notre Dame Cathedral or take in some culture at the Museum of Modern Art.
Europapark Theme Park & Steinwasen Park
The region is blessed with not one, but two theme parks, guaranteeing a fun day out for all involved.
