Youth Music Tours to Berlin
Berlin has spent the last 20 years living in the shadow of construction, but as the last of the major projects finishes, locals and tourists alike can now savour the beauty of a revitalised city. Tours of the Reichstag, the television tower that offers breathtaking views over the city, and the Tropical Islands leisure complex are just a sample of the popular excursions available to you whilst in Berlin.
Additionally, a day trip to Leipzig introduces your students to an area rich in musical history. Whilst Wagner, Schumann and Mendelssohn all have strong associations with the town, it was Johann Sebastian Bach’s 27 years as Kantor of the Thomaskirche for which Leipzig has become most famous. Visits to the Thomaskirche, the Bach Archiv or the Grassi Musical Instrument Museum are a valuable experience for any budding musician.
