Youth Music Tours to the Derbyshire Dales

With sweeping views and attractive stone-built villages, the Derbyshire Dales present some of the most attractive landscapes in Britain. The region contains a wide range of stately homes and country parks, from the splendour of Chatsworth House to the time capsule which is Calke Abbey. Visits to the cities of Nottingham and Derby, the nationally renowned Denby Pottery and the adventure of nearby Alton Towers offer interest and action for all.

There are opportunities to play and sing both indoors and outdoors at the National Memorial Arboretum, a venue of increasing national importance. The bandstands in the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton and at Nottingham Castle provide delightful settings for bands, and the many fine churches across the counties give opportunities for concerts for both bands and choirs.
