Youth Music Tours to Lake Garda
Nestled between Venice and Milan, beautiful Lake Garda presents a variety of towns and villages and an endless supply of exciting excursions to enjoy. Take a boat trip to the beautiful town of Malcesine and catch a cable car up Mount Baldo for spectacular views over the lake, or visit Verona to see the impressive amphitheatre and trace the footsteps of Romeo to Juliet’s balcony. Picturesque lakeside towns such as Torbole and Sirmione offer great shopping opportunities as well as fantastic ice creams! With an array of natural gorges and waterfalls to explore, combined with visits to Gardaland (Italy’s biggest theme park) and Caneva World (Italy’s biggest water park), this area really has something for every member of your group.
Where to Perform
Levico Terme
The Trentino town of Levico Terme offers a superb opportunity for visiting groups to give concerts in the main square, where they are warmly welcomed. The town has its own concert series throughout the summer and the local town band will take part together with a multicultural mix of visiting performers. With the church overlooking the busy main square, an evening performance here is unforgettable.
Venice & Verona
With Lake Garda’s proximity to the enchanting cities of Venice and Verona, your group are within easy reach of some of the area’s most memorable performance opportunities.
In Venice, choirs can perform in some of the city’s fantastic churches. Adorned with ornate gold arches and opulent Byzantine mosaics, St. Mark’s Basilica is an awe-inspiring venue for any group of a sacred repertoire where all performances are a cappella. A church concert in Verona offers a contrasting experience and, for a more informal performance where you can get involved with the community and meet the Italians first hand, we can arrange for your ensemble to perform at one of the city’s retirement homes.
Performance Highlight
Sirmione
Situated in a stunning lakeside setting, Sirmione offers a truly amazing outdoor concert experience. With an electric atmosphere created by appreciative audiences, a performance in this medieval town will leave your group with fond memories. Fantastic acoustics carry through the whole piazza in the balmy evening, so your performance will be appreciated by all who visit this charming peninsula resort.
What to Do
Gardaland & Caneva World
A trip to the popular theme and water parks Gardaland and Canevaworld is certain to excite your group. Whether you choose to tackle the huge variety of rides and attractions in Gardaland Theme Park, or take on the exciting selection of slides and pools at Canevaworld Water Park, there’s sure to be something to satisfy the brave and the not so brave!
Verona
Just a short drive from Lake Garda brings you to Verona, famous for its star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, Roman amphitheatre and numerous perfectly preserved monuments. Combine some sightseeing with excellent shopping, fine cuisine and an evening at the opera.
Boat Trips
If you’re looking for a calmer way to spend your days, hop on board one of our most popular excursions: a boat trip on Lake Garda. Relax on deck as you depart from Riva del Garda, stopping in the charming lakeside town of Limone and pausing in Malcesine to visit to the striking castle and to sample the many shops and ice-cream parlours.
