Spanish Language Trips to Costa Brava

Made up of quaint costal resorts with miles of beaches and stunning Medieval Spanish towns and cities, each one brimming with its own unique culture and history, it’s easy to see why the Costa Brava is a holiday haven. Mix this with a welcoming community, plenty to do and ample opportunities to practise your Spanish in a friendly environment and you begin to understand why this region is perfect for a Language Tour. Our groups are based in resorts along the coast with easy access to all that the Costa Brava offers and our hotels are well placed for reaching surrounding areas such as the wonderful Montserrat, Girona and Barcelona.

Language Highlight:
Poble Espanyol

Originally built for the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, the village gives visitors a sample of Spanish architecture, featuring a number of squares connected by quaint, picturesque streets. You can explore the stunning buildings, which are based on the architecture found in Spain’s most beautiful towns and cities, including a town hall and a monastery. Alternatively, take in the traditional arts on display or even shop for handmade products and souvenirs.

Montserrat

Home to the famous Escolania Boys’ Choir, Montserrat Monastery is just one of the many attractions on offer here. Take a ride on the Sant Joan or Santa Cova funicular and experience the impressive views across the Catalan countryside. Practise Spanish in the artisan shops and see why thousands of pilgrims visit here each year.

Teatre-Museu Dalí, Figueres

The Dalí Theatre-Museum was built upon the remains of the former Figueres theatre. It contains a broad range of Salvador Dalí’s works and, as everything in it was designed by the artist himself, it gives you a remarkable insight into his captivating and unique world.

Port Aventura

Spain’s newest and highly exotic theme park takes you on a journey around five far reaching corners of the planet with many thrilling rides, stunning shows and adventurous attractions.

Tossa de Mar Boat Trip

Enjoy the spectacular coastal vistas from the sea and explore the sea bed by glass-bottomed boat. Commentary is provided in both English and Spanish.

Waterworld

The best water attraction in Europe with water big dippers, wave-making pools, zig zag slides and chutes. Best enjoyed in the height of summer, a day on the waterslides and in the pools at this outdoor water park in Lloret de Mar is a must.

Barcelona

The city of Barcelona has so much to offer its visitors. A walk along Barcelona’s most famous street, Las Ramblas, is a must, with its shops, cafés and street entertainers. Whether your next choice is a visit to La Sagrada Família, a ride on the Montjuic cable car system with its breathtaking views or a stop at the grand capacity Camp Nou football stadium, you are certain to be overwhelmed.

Other excursions also available:
