A Geography Study Tour is a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to gain a level of understanding about Geography that no amount of textbooks or classroom teaching can ever equal. Designed to complement the National Curriculum and suitable for studies up to AS / A2 and Advanced Higher levels.

All our Geography Tours are researched and designed by Ian Hardie, an ex-geography teacher. He ensures that each destination is packed full of useful study topics that will appeal to your students.

Iceland

Rapidly becoming one of Europe's hottest destinations, Iceland is overflowing with natural features, which include glaciers, hot springs, geysirs, active volcanoes, portentous peaks and vast lava deserts. Iceland's folklore tradition history remains strong and groups can explore the rich history of the country.

The history of the country spans 3,000 years and there have been many sights to be seen. The cuisine is full of flavour and life, which complements the intense culture of the country.

Almost twenty percent of the total area of the Netherlands is water, which gives visitors the opportunity to explore the country via canal routes. In the summer the fields bloom with flowers making it look like a sea of colour. Popularly known for its windmills, clogs, dikes, tulips and bicycles, Netherlands proves to be a country full of salutary surprises.
