Berlin and Kraków – An Unforgettable Experience.
In Berlin you can visit the iconic parliamentary buildings of The Reichstag, and the site of the SS and Gestapo headquarters, the Topography of Terror, where a museum now stands. A visit to the Checkpoint Charlie museum is not to be missed, as it gives an insight into the risks people took trying to smuggle themselves and others across the border created by the Berlin Wall and why they felt compelled to take such risks. A trip to Berlin helps students to understand how, and possibly why, decisions were madeA visit to Kraków helps you picture the other side of the story; that of the ordinary people. This is your chance to make an unforgettable and poignant trip to Auschwitz Concentration Camp and Birkenau, the largest of the camps in the Auschwitz area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided tour of the camp and museum gives students a chance to reflect on the impact this site had on the 1.1 million Jews who died here and the people who lived in fear of it. This is a heart-rendering visit, by which no-one can fail to be moved.

This two-centre tour helps students begin to understand World War II and to see some of the most infamous landmarks in just 5-days; an invigorating tour for any history student!
