Learn the 'Lingo' from the Locals in Germany...

What better way to develop your students’ language skills than by leaving the classroom and taking them to a foreign country where their chosen language is being used all around them?  Whilst reading textbooks and role playing with peers cement the basics, listening and speaking to locals is invaluable and will bring on any students language ability.

German is one of the core foreign languages on the National Curriculum and with Germany so easily accessible it is an ideal opportunity to enhance your students’ ability and confidence to speak the language.

Germany’s capital city, Berlin, is a superb location for your group to combine 3-hours a day German tuition with a wealth of historical, cultural and leisure activities.  Our language school is located in the centre of Berlin, just a 15-minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate, and 9-hours worth of tuition is included in our standard tours, split over three days.

After your morning workshop why not take a step back in history with a visit to the Story of Berlin museum, or visit some of the famous landmarks connected to World War II, such as Checkpoint Charlie, The Reichstag or the Jewish Memorial.  If you want an excursion that is more leisurely for your students then this city can offer bowling, cinema, and a world class zoo.

If the bustle of the city is not quite right for your group then try the beautiful Rhineland region.  As in Berlin, we have a long established relationship with a number of language schools in the region who provide your group with daily tuition.  Accompany the tutition with a trip to the nearby city of Cologne where you can have a guided tour, visit the distinctive gothic cathedral or please all of the chocolate lovers in your group by taking them to the chocolate museum.  There is a wide variety of leisure tours available from your base in the Rhineland, such as a cruise on the river Rhine, a trip to nearby Phantasialand Theme Park or a cable car ride from Boppard to the ‘Vierseenblick’ for spectacular views of the river Rhine and lakes.

Whether Berlin or the Rhineland is your preferred destination, we are confident that your students will have an enjoyable experience whilst advancing their German language skills and gaining confidence by practising the language in the real world.
