Lake Garda

The largest of the Italian Lakes, Garda has all the amenities expected of a popular holiday resort. Everything faces and focuses on the lake, which is surrounded on three sides by dramatic mountain scenery with gentler terrain to the south.

Many small fishing towns and villages populate the shores with their colourful markets and costume festivities on show. The wide variety of architectural styles, ranging from little fishermen's cottages to villas and dramatic castles, contribute to the great beauty of the area.
