Ski Trips by Coach
Coach travel is an excellent and affordable choice for reaching your chosen ski resort. With an on-board DVD player, reclining seats, seat belts, hot drinks machine and a toilet, coach travel has moved smoothly into the 21st century.
The journey can be broken up with breakfasts in each direction, at minimal cost, and several comfort stops along the way. It also removes the chances of lost luggage, fogbound airports, striking air traffic controllers, the constant need to be carrying heavy luggage around airport departure and arrival halls, and combined with the fact that by coach, you travel door to door – it’s easy to see why coach travel is a very good option.
Coach travel is also fundamentally much cheaper then travelling by air, as well as allowing anyone taking their own equipment the chance to forgo any excess/sports luggage fees.
Any group travelling by coach will also have the opportunity to use their coach during the week to take part in après ski events in neighbouring resorts!
Ski Trips by Air
The quickest route to the slopes is via plane. All our resorts are within easy reach of airports and with winter flight departures from all major UK airports as well as a number of regional airports, the convenience of flying can often outweigh any cost implication.
Many groups take advantage of the reduced time by enjoying an extra night in resort, meaning that your last day of skiing can be followed by a relaxing meal and evening of entertainment, before beginning your return journey the following morning. Alternatively, if you would like a shorter trip, ski on your last day before taking an evening flight home.
Please note that scheduled airlines such as British Airways often release their schedules eleven months in advance so please let us know of your plans and we can hold seats for you whilst the trip is advertised and people sign up.
Low cost airlines release their routes nearer the time but in all instances, the sooner you are able to let us know of your intention to fly, the more likely it is for us to get a cost effective fare, potentially making a flight trip a viable and affordable option.
Length of ski trip
Typically a standard ski trip would be from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday (eight day duration) with six days of skiing. However our philosophy of tailor making our trips means we will try to adjust the number of days as requested if your group wants to ski for more or less than the usual six days.
