Ski instructor Mauro and his English wife Lesley always work hard to offer groups an enjoyable stay in this charming and well appointed hotel. The size of the hotel means that one group can easily book out the whole hotel and rooming can then be tailored to ensure that all requests are met. The communal areas, reception, dining room, kitchen and two lounge areas are located on the bottom floor for easy access. The hotel also provides a full size table football, ping pong table and dart board for guests to use at their leisure. The English and Italian owners ensure that a genuine Italian feel comes through in all aspects of a group’s stay but that any issues, such as food requests, are easily overcome.

The hotel is in a hamlet by the name of Jouvencaux. Around a mile from the centre of Sauze d’Oulx, it is close enough to be convenient, and distant enough for there to be no distractions. The coach will take groups up to the Sportinia chairlift every morning if required, but there is also the option of using the Jouvencaux chairlift, around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. This involves an interesting walk through the medieval part of the hamlet, which is completed without the need to carry ski equipment as all boots, skis and boards are stored at the top of the chairlift.

Hotel Miosotis

The family run Miosotis Hotel is a clean and cosy accommodation which is perfect for groups who are able to fill a coach and who want sole occupancy.

Positioned at the top end of the resort the hotel boasts the enviable title of the closest hotel to the main Sportinia chair lift which our groups use each day. It is also equally convenient for the resort, with the hotel leading onto the cobbled, pedestrianised road which winds through the village. The hotel is an excellent accommodation option with owner Franco being known for his warm hospitality and excellent food.

Florida Prata

Located in the centre of Sauze d’ Oulx, just 100 metres from the Clotes ski lift, the Florida Prata hotel is the perfect base from which to explore one of the largest ski districts in Europe and home of many of the 2006 Winter Olympic events.

The Florida Prata has a spacious terrace where you will be able to sit in the sun and relax after a day on the slopes and a large dining room perfect for an evening meal before heading out into resort for some après activities. All bedrooms are en suite.

Hotel Sportinia

Situated in the heart of the resort, the hotel Sportinia offers a great location, comfortable accommodation and fantastic service. Groups eat at a nearby restaurant each evening which only serves to give a real holiday atmosphere to the stay.

The ski hire shop is right next door and the lifts are a short stroll through the resort centre. In the evening , the hotel’s position on central piazza III Alpini means that there are a variety of locations in which après events can be held and the hotels own communal areas also allow for relaxed evenings in. Hotel Hermitage

With the town centre, ski hire shops and après location on the doorstep, the location is ideal and the excellent food and helpful staff will all combine to make a great ski trip.

Hotel La Torre

Situated right in the centre of the resort, the Italian 4-star Hotel La Torre offers unique architecture and unrivaled access to the many amenities Sauze d’Oulx has to offer.

Built in the form of a tower, the bedrooms spiral upwards around the external wall of the building. Inside, instead of a staircase, there is a spiral ramp providing access to the rooms which opens up the central part of the building into a huge atrium. For those wanting quicker access to their rooms there are also two lifts, and of course, a separate fire escape. Both the dining room and bedrooms offer magnificent, panoramic views of the mountains.

Rooms are for 2, 3 and 4 and all are equipped with en suite facilities. The nearest lift and piste is 5 minutes walk away with the main Sportinia chairlift a relaxing 10 minute walk through town, made easier by the fact that all ski equipment is stored by the piste.
