School Ski Trip Typical Itinerary

School Ski Trip Typical Itinerary

Take a look at what a typical itinerary would look like for your ski trip. Coach trips are usually either 8 days and 5 nights or 9 days and 6 nights, whilst trips by air are usually 7 days and 6 nights or 8 days and 7 nights.
Travel Days

Both coach and flight itineraries will be dictated by flight and ferry availability. We aim to get most groups into resort in the early afternoon so that you can settle in and get your skis. Where this is not possible, ski fit will take place on the first morning in resort and the lesson times might start late on this one day to allow everyone to get their ski gear in time.

On the way back, coach groups will leave on their last day of skiing once they have changed and had a hearty meal. We aim to have you into Calais by mid-morning so that you can be back at your school at a reasonable hour.

For flight groups, we will usually aim to get you on a morning or lunchtime flight so you’re not having to wait around and so you get back at a reasonable time.

Trip Duration

5-Day Ski Itinerary

Following a Saturday departure and arriving the next afternoon after an overnight journey from the UK, the 5-day option allows groups to ski for five consecutive days Monday to Friday. The group would then typically arrive back at school on the Saturday mid-afternoon, as follows:

Day 1: Coach departs school early evening

Day 2: Arrive resort mid-afternoon, settle in and ski fit

Day 3-6: Normal ski days with increased instruction time and evening après ski activities

Day 7: Ski school as normal before returning equipment, taking an early evening meal and then departing for the UK

Day 8: Arrive back in the UK mid-afternoon

6-Day Ski Itinerary

Departing on a Saturday, this option allows groups to maximise their time in resort, with six days of consecutive skiing before arriving back at school on the Sunday night, as follows:

Day 1: Coach departs school early evening

Day 2: Arrive resort mid-afternoon, settle in and ski fit

Day 3-7: Normal ski days with ski instruction and evening après ski activities

Day 8: Ski school as normal before returning equipment, taking an early evening meal and then departing for the UK

Day 9: Arrive back in the UK in the mid-afternoon
