Paris & Disneyland® Paris
Why Paris?
Paris offers a delightful mix of historic culture, vibrant atmosphere and plenty of entertainment opportunities for your group. Climb the Eiffel Tower, see the works of Monet and Rodin at the Musée D’Orsay, fly down the waterslides at Aquaboulevard or take your group to experience the magical world of Disney at Disneyland Resort Paris. Being close to home and with an almost limitless supply of activities and performance venues for all ages, Paris is a great destination for a long weekend tour, although with so much to see and do, you’ll most definitely want to stay longer!
Where to Perform
St. Sulpice, La Madeleine, St. Severin and Notre Dame
We can arrange for choirs with a sacred repertoire to participate in mass or give a short informal recital at the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. Mass participation or afternoon concerts are possible at the churches of La Madeleine, St Severin and St Sulpice.
American Cathedral
If you prefer a more intimate venue, or if you wish to perform a mixed repertoire, then a performance at the American Cathedral would be an excellent inclusion for your itinerary. The cathedral accepts all ensembles for formal concerts.
Bandstands in Stunning Locations
From May to September bands and orchestras can play as part of the city’s concert series on the numerous, purpose built bandstands. Locations include stands in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, by Notre-Dame, in the Parc Georges-Brassens and in the Jardin du Luxembourg. With a back-drop of such famous landmarks, your performances in Paris are sure to be remembered!
What to Do
The Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe
The Eiffel Tower is a defining symbol of Paris - and the view from the top of this remarkable structure should not be missed! Closer to the ground, why not take a stroll up the Champs Elysées, enjoying the many exquisite shops and vendors en route to the Arc de Triomphe. For an alternative view of Paris’ famous monuments, why not enjoy a cruise on the Bateaux Mouches boats which run along the River Seine?
Aquaboulevard
Aquaboulevard is the biggest water park in Europe! There are giant water slides, indoor and outdoor wave pools, water cannons and jacuzzis. All activities are fully supervised by a team of qualified lifeguards.
Montmartre
The old artists’ quarter, fascinating come nightfall, offers superb views of the Parisian skyline. Famous for its souvenir shopping, a trip to Montmartre isn’t complete without a visit to Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
Disneyland® Paris - Magic Music Days
Magic Music Days Programme
The Disney Magic Music Days programme offers performance opportunities to amateur groups, with the aim of giving participants a glimpse into Disney’s professional world of entertainment by offering them the unique, once in a lifetime experience of becoming a ‘Disney’ performer for the day! Choral groups, dance ensembles, musical theatre groups and marching bands are all eligible to apply for this amazing opportunity.
Your tour co-ordinator will work closely with Disney to ensure that the preparation for your Disney Magic Music Days show runs as smoothly as possible. Once you arrive at the park, you will be allocated your own Disney co-ordinator to take care of you throughout the day. A Disney technical team is also on hand to add those finishing touches and make sure everything runs smoothly for a magical experience you will never forget!
This year, we’re thrilled to be able to offer your group the chance to experience a 90 minute workshop with a Disney professional. The workshops are tailored to your group type and offer a unique chance to get tips from the professionals on a range of performance skills. Slots are limited and we recommend booking early to secure your space.
Participation in the Disney Magic Music Days programme is subject to audition and Rayburn Tours will be happy to guide you through the audition process. For a greater insight into the Disney Magic Music Days experience please speak to one of our Tour Consultants.
