Switzerland
Why Switzerland?
Interlaken is the capital of the Bernese Oberland nestled between the beautiful Lakes Thun and Brienz. From here your students can enjoy a ride on the Schilthorn cable car, taking you high into the Alps where you can visit the traffic-free mountain village of Gimmelwald and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
The Trümmelbach falls are a magnificent natural wonder. Viewed from underground on foot, a series of bridges, galleries and tunnels surround you as around 20,000 litres of water per second pass you by! Our youth music tours to the area also often enjoy a day trip to the beautiful town of Lucerne.
Where to Perform
Camping Jungfrau
Bands and choirs can perform for guests on the large covered stage at this popular campsite in the town of Lauterbrunnen.

This lovely lakeside town can welcome outdoor performances on the Rathausplatz in front of the town hall and indoor performance in the main church. For a special performance, groups can perform in the Knight’s Hall (Rittersaal).
Interlaken
The Casino Kursaal’s lovely gardens offer a great backdrop for a relaxed afternoon concert in the town of Interlaken. Formal concerts can take place in the two main churches.
