The Rhineland

Why The Rhineland?

Consistently one of our most popular destinations for concert tours, the Rhineland has so much to offer your young musicians. This beautiful region is steeped in history, legend and culture and is perfect for offering your group a varied and exciting experience. Rhine steamer cruises, Beethoven’s birthplace, fairytale castles and cable car rides are all part of this region’s attractions. Combined with a variety of exciting activities such as the fantastic Tauris swimming complex, bowling alleys and the Phantasialand theme park, the Rhineland ensures a memorable performance tour for your group.

Boppard and Bad Ems

Your group can choose to perform at one of the stunning riverside bandstands such as Boppard or Bad Ems, which attract large, enthusiastic audiences.

Bad Neuenahr

One of the original spa resorts in the region, Bad Neuenahr is a great venue for an indoor or outdoor concert. The stage revolves to allow either possibility depending on the weather! This is a stylish venue with a well-attended weekly concert series.

Local Churches and Cathedrals

Choirs with a sacred repertoire can give a concert in one of the many local churches, or give a recital in the awesome Cologne Cathedral. The All Saints Church Cologne accepts ensembles to perform to appreciative audiences from the local town.

Marksburg Castle

Visit the Marksburg Castle, complete with its romantic legends and gruesome torture chamber.

Boppard

A ride on the mini-train is an excellent way for your group to enjoy all the sights of this historical town with its hills and valleys, quiet lanes and lively squares, and a wealth of nature and culture.

Rüdesheim Cable Car

Let the Cable Car at Rüdesheim carry you to the Niederwalddenkmal, for fine views over the Rhine.

Phantasialand

Always a success, spend a day at the famous Phantasialand theme park, the perfect way for your group to unwind after their concert series.
