To end the day we drove to the black sands of Reynishverfi. A beautiful location with an abundance of impressive geographical features to admire.
The Reynishverfi needles are evidence of the erosional power of the coast but local legend says they are trolls that turned to stone. The columnar basalt cliffs made the perfect photo opportunity.
