Here at Rayburn Tours, our Professional Coaching will take you behind the scenes of some of the world’s leading clubs, top facilities and impressive set-ups. Our sessions are designed to be insightful, educational and include a physical training element.

Two groups currently enjoying the benefits of our Professional Coaching Package are Hungerhill School from Doncaster, who set their sights for Orlando City Soccer Club, and Canon Slade School, who jetted off to the New York Red Bulls. And judging by the pictures below, the groups are certainly enjoying their time away!

Hungerhill School’s professional coaching kicked off with a 2-hour training session, quickly followed by a performance talk with Head and Assistant Coach of Orlando City B, Anthony Pulis and Rob Valentino. Head coach Pulis gave an insightful talk about the mental side of being a player growing up in an English academy, whilst assistant coach Valentino discussed the US College footballing system and his experience of battling back from an ACL injury he suffered at the start of his professional career.

It was great to hear both coaches talk about their experiences in the game and see the students so engaged in what they had to say. The performance presentation concluded with a special guest talk from Orlando Pride Coach Tom Sermanni – former professional player from Scotland and former coach of Australia, Canada and US National Team.

The professional coaching experience was coming to an end for Hungerhill, but not before they spotted current Orlando City SC and footballing superstar Kaká on the training ground – who not only acknowledged the team’s chants but also gave them a wave! How many other schools can say they’ve seen a footballing superstar on their sports trip?!

Further north, Canon Slade School’s professional coaching experience began at the New York Red Bulls, with a 2-hour training session with academy coaches. The highlight of their day, however, has to be the player meet and greet with Red Bulls right back Chris Duvall, where plenty of questions were asked and pictures posed for.
