The Music Makers Make Music in Paris!

Last updated: Jan 30th, 2019

‘Sharing your art with a different culture in a different land is a magical thing.’

In May of this year, Bandcamp (part of The Music Makers, Nottingham) launched their first ever music tour to Paris and twenty-two talented young musicians hit the road for four music-filled days in ‘the City of Lights’.

Day one of the tour took the group into the magical world of Disneyland Paris for their first performance. After arriving at the parks in the morning for a sound check, the group gave an afternoon concert on the Videopolis stage and thoroughly enjoyed the experience:

‘The Disney experience was incredible. They were so welcoming and so professional and welcomed us back at any time. It should be mentioned how appreciative the audience are at these events. We had huge groups watch the entire hour long performance of our concerts and received amazing comments.’

After the concert, the group had time to unwind in the parks and have a go on some rides. They even caught the illuminations show before heading back to Paris – the perfect end to a perfect day!

With two concerts scheduled for day two of the tour, there was no rest for Bandcamp! In the morning, the group performed in Square Jean XXIII and were graced with beautiful sunshine for their outdoor concert; in the afternoon, the sun kept on shining for the group’s performance in the stunning Parc Montsouris!

‘We made so many memories and friendships along the way and all of the children agreed it was an experience they would never forget.’

We were delighted that the group had such a great time on tour and we’re looking forward to working on their Easter 2018 tour to the Costa Brava!

‘Rayburn were ”outstanding”. From start to finish you guys were absolutely perfect. The consistency, accuracy and content of information was brilliant and our tour package, for a slightly odd make-up of musicians, was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.’
