Among the title challengers are recently-relegated Fulham. With fire power fit for the premier league, you’d expect them to find their way back to the top. Other obvious promotion candidates are Leeds, Cardiff and West Brom. All have strong squads capable of the job ahead, and with experienced managers to guide them, only time will tell who makes the top.
At the other end of the spectrum, a reel of names find themselves in the relegation debate. A hard fought battle for survival is something known in the Championship, and this year promises to be no different. With the departure of Che Adams to premiership side Southampton, Birmingham will no doubt struggle to find goals. Millwall also look likely to be in for another tough test, following their survival scrap last season. Aside from the established Championship sides, newcomers Barnsley, Charlton and Luton will need to prepare for the relentlessness of the league if they are to survive.
The beautiful thing about football is that nobody can predict the outcome, but we can have a good go!
