Easter skiing for the win!
For many schools it’ll be nearly two years without a school ski trip, so it comes as no surprise that teachers, students and parents are all eager to get the 2022 school ski trip on the calendar. We’ve seen a trend of schools booking their ski trip earlier than usual to ensure they secure their ideal resort, dates and accommodation. This has the added benefit of giving families more time to save. Couple that with the postponements from 2020 and 2021 and availability is filling up fast, particularly for the peak February Half Term dates.
Fear not though, as we still have some amazing options perfect for schools in 2022. Our top tip, however, would be to opt for an Easter ski trip. Gemma, our Ski Tours Sales Manager, tells you why.
“If you choose the right resort, then Easter skiing offers you all the same great benefits of February skiing, but with a little extra.
Firstly, it’s cheaper! On some occasions it can save you £100s on February Half Term.
Secondly, you’re giving yourself more time to launch and plan, as well as giving parents more time to save which may help increase sign-ups for the trip.
It’s generally quieter than February Half Term. Not only does this mean smaller queues, more availability and more space on the slopes, but it also means that we have scope to offer more hours of ski tuition per day. Usually limited to 4 hours a day during peak weeks, we have resorts where we are able to increase this to 5 hours per day during Easter.
Of course, people tend to opt for February Half Term because they’re guaranteed snow. Whilst that is true, as long as you pick a high altitude resort then you’ll get the same great ski experience at Easter too. And, that’s where we can help!”
Here are just some of our top picks for Easter 2022.
