Gros Islet

Gros Islet

Gros Islet was originally a small fishing village, though is now a blossoming tourist destination, largely down to the popularity of its Friday evening street parties, called ‘Jump Up’.

Here, locals and tourists congregate to grab some fresh seafood or barbecued chicken from one of the street vendors, while huge speakers blare out chilled Caribbean music and a few people even have a dance!

By day, Gros Islet offers a brilliant range of activities, such as fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, kite surfing, biking, sailing and scuba diving – meaning you will never be short of activities.
