Who is Lichfield Festival?

Its varied programme includes the renowned Summer Festival, the Lichfield Literature Festival, the Autumn Chamber Music Weekend, and a series of Winter and Christmas concerts.

What is the Midlands Choir of the Year competition?

The Midlands Choir of the Year competition is an exciting annual event open to amateur choirs from across the Midlands. It provides choirs of all backgrounds and musical styles with a platform to share their passion for singing, celebrate their hard work, and perform in front of a supportive audience and expert judges. Participating choirs have the chance to showcase their unique sound, challenge themselves artistically, and connect with other music communities within the region. Along with valuable performance experience, the winning choir will receive a cheque for £1,000, a commemorative trophy, and invitation to perform at Lichfield Festival 2027, and the prestigious Midlands Choir of the Year 2026 title!
