Created and produced by choral maestro, Russell Scott, his over 35 years professional experience in the industry gives him an intimate knowledge of how to get the best from you and your choir.
And with workshops designed to introduce new singing techniques, awesome arrangements and guaranteed inclusivity of every singer and choir, you’ll find an inspiring space specifically designed for choirs to thrive.
There’s a fantastic festival schedule focused on varying aspects of choral singing, too.
Fancy techniques for modern rock and pop arrangements? Then the ‘Contemporary Rock & Pop Music’ lesson is for you!
Or, how about discovering why words are set as they are, what they bring to compositions and how you can enhance your singing of them? Then step into ‘The Wordshop’.
Maybe you want energy in abundance? Then, it’s the invigorating ‘Vocal Keep Fit’. Here, you and your choir will focus on vocal technique, aural skills and having plenty of fun.
Or, be dazzled in ‘Gospel Expressions’. In this awe-inspiring ‘no holding back’ session, you’ll be guided through an experience where strong vocals and heartfelt expressions are encouraged.
Then, there’s the NEW Joint Sessions! 75-minutes long, it sees all workshop leaders working with choirs on one single piece in a masterclass format.
Last, there’s the outstanding ‘Platinum Sessions’. Here, workshop leaders will give invaluable 1-2-1 feedback as well as Q&A with your choir. To add, this year sees each choir receive 2x 20 minutes each with 2 workshop leaders.
Some amazing workshops – but what about the award-winning, internationally recognised and inspiring workshop leaders who created them?
Well, the event at Manchester High School for Girls will see British Voice Association president, Craig Lees teaching rock and pop classics. Musical giant Nicolas Cleobury give deeper meaning to the words in compositions, the energising Suzzie Vango keeping you vocally fit, as well as the award-winning vocalist and choral director, Carla Jane’s, masterclass on gospel expressions.
There’s certainly a lot to take in.
