Our driver has done his best today in very difficult conditions. We’ve managed to do everything on the itinerary but have had to withstand some extreme winds and freezing temperatures. We’ve seen the Kerid Crater, the Geysir Centre to see the Strokkur geyser erupt. We then made it to the stunning Gulfoss waterfall before heading to Thingvellir National Park to walk in the  Almannagja rift and see the historic site of the first parliament in 930.
