What is the Milky Way Ski Area?

Sharing the same name as the galaxy we live in, the Milky Way spans 400km across Italy and into France. The interconnected pistes mean you can ski across two countries during your school ski trip! The Italian resorts in the Milky Way include Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere and Pragelato, with Montgenèvre located in France.

Another resort to host events during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, Sauze d’Oulx is an ideal destination for intermediate skiers. The resort has a lively atmosphere within its charming traditional village and offers a superb range of après-ski activities, keeping your group entertained from morning until night.
