Golden Day

Last updated: Jan 30th, 2019

Our Golden Day began stormy, but intrepid students Jess and Sarah explored the Almannagja with Miss Pugh´s help. This “fissure for everybody” is part of the ancient parliament fields system of Pingvellir. Further through the system, the diverted waterfall of Oxararfoss makes a superb backdrop for Lauren and James, as well as Emily, Abbie and Olivia. Waterfalls don´t come more impressive than Gullfoss according to Ben and Alicia. However if you want a really impressive backdrop to your selfie, take the advise of Emily, Becky, Jess Zoe and Freya and visit Strokkur in the Geysir area. For the lads of 6.1 you can always go one better and take a video of yourselves getting soaked in the spray in a slo-mo movie! Just time for a quick group shot at Kerid on the way home for a yummy supper in Selfoss. What a fabulous day!
