Earlier this year, young musicians from Merchant Taylors’ School embarked upon a musical two-centre tour to Lido di Jesolo (Venice) and Lake Garda. Whilst Venice is celebrated for its extensive waterways and some of Europe’s most famous sights, Lake Garda’s allure is its pretty towns, lakeside piazzas and mountainous scenery.
Trip highlights include performing at the iconic St Mark’s Basilica in Venice, as well as taking in a performance at Verona Opera and exploring the Venetian Lagoon on a boat trip. All in all, this was a concert tour to remember!
