Last updated: Nov 3rd, 2026

School ski trips are enriching, educational and thoroughly enjoyable for both students and teachers, particularly when you can relax knowing everything is taken care of, from the initial booking to when you’re on the piste.

Working with an award-winning school tour operator, such as Rayburn Tours, gives you peace of mind knowing every element is carefully audited and planned to ensure you get the most out of your experience. But what’s actually included in a ski trip for schools? We’ve put together this blog, detailing the Rayburn Tours ski trip offerings, from travel and accommodation to specialist support and equipment hire.

Dedicated one-to-one support from our school ski trip specialists

Every great school ski trip starts with specialist support, and with Rayburn Tours, you’ll receive dedicated one-to-one sales support from our sales team, from your initial enquiry right through to through to booking.

Our team know the ins and outs of the resorts we offer, as they visit them first-hand. Our resort familiarisation trips give the team with the opportunity to carefully assess each resort, its infrastructure, and accommodation, along with everything in between, to ensure the health and safety standards align with our offerings.

These visits allow the team to see every detail that goes into organising a school ski trip. They meet our suppliers and explore the local area, benefiting both our internal team and our customers. This first-hand experiences allows us to make informed recommendations to support your enquiry and itinerary.

Once you’ve booked your ski trip, you’ll be passed on to a member of our operations team, who will provide you with dedicated one-to-one support to help you plan and organise every aspect of your tour.

As many of our school ski trip specialists are snow sports enthusiasts themselves, they bring passion and first-hand experience to every planning conversation. They’ll listen to your requirements and offer recommendations based on their knowledge and expertise to help ensure your trip is perfectly tailored to your group.

Dedicated in-resort representative

As standard with a Rayburn Tours school ski trip, you’ll have a dedicated ski trip representative who will look after your group while you’re in the resort.

Their role includes collecting your ski passes and supporting you with in-resort logistics, getting your group to and from the slopes safely and on time, liaising with the coach drivers to confirm pick up times when required.

Your representative will also assist the group with getting the ski equipment and locating the lockers for groups to store them. They’ll also be on hand to help with day-to-day issues, lost items, medical emergencies and complaints, as well as assisting with après ski activities.
