We’re the exclusive UK partner of the Rey Cup Football Tournament
The city of Reykjavik sponsors the tournament by giving access to local schools surrounding the site, where teams will make their home for the duration of their stay. Accommodation, playing fields, activities and a geothermal swimming pool are all less than 10 minutes apart, making it safe and logistically simple for boys’ and girls’ U14 and U16 football teams.
90 teams annually compete in the Rey Cup Football Tournament, Iceland and the superb facilities, high standard of opposition and quality excursions make for a perfect football tournament.

Where: Reykjavik, Iceland
When: UK school summer holidays
Open to: Boys’ and girls’ U14 and U16 football teams
Age groups available: U16 and U15 U14 and U13 For both boys and girls 11-a-side
Matches: Guaranteed minimum 5-6 matches per team, every team plays in the finals
General rules: According to FIFA rules, with the exception that two referees and no linesmen in each game. Playing time 2 x 25 minutes with a 5 minute break
Fields: Games are played on grass (most games) and artificial turf. Gold finals are played at the National Stadium.

What does our insurance cover us for?
Our insurance providers offer comprehensive cover to our groups for the duration of their tour and is tailored specifically for schools, with specialist insurance policies for individual tour types. As with any insurance cover, it is vital that you read through the terms and conditions and that you declare any relevant information as requested. For groups opting to take their own insurance, we highly recommend that you read all inclusions and exclusions prior to departure.

Can I talk to Rayburn whilst out on tour?
Yes, a 24-hour emergency phone number will be provided in your final documents pack and one of our experienced members of staff will be happy to help with any problems you have whilst out on tour.

Do your hotels comply with our Local Authority’s guidelines?
All hotels are audited to standards set by the School Travel Forum (STF), this criteria is based on information and guidance from educational authorities. Whilst local laws and standards have to be taken into consideration, as they may differ from country to country, our standards do not. We are happy to provide copies of our hotel audits should you wish to see them.
