St John the Baptist School – Day 2 in Morocco

Last updated: Jan 30th, 2019

We woke up with an early start and we started our journey over the Atlas Mountains. Firstly we stopped at Canal de Rocade and Ian our guide taught us about the problems with water in Morocco and it was generally a very geographical day. We then took the only road over the mountains, the N9, it was a long and windy road slowly going up the mountain. We stopped along the way to view an on looking village to see what the village was like and how it differs from others, we also filled in our booklets. There were clear signs of water deficit in this area. In addition we made some new friends there. The sights were incredible and breath taking! 🙂

After a long day of travelling and sight seeing we arrived at our very nice hotel which had a huge pool, we also tried lots of traditional Moroccan food which was all to our taste.
