School Geography Trips to North Wales allow your students to uncover geographical gems. For example, Snowdonia, often referred to as the rooftop of Wales, is an inspiring and memorable location in which to undertake geography fieldwork.

The glacial trough of Nant Francon and the corrie of Cwm Idwal were dramatically sculpted by ice during the last glacial period. They provide superb examples of glacial and post glacial processes and their role in shaping the landscape of today.

The Snowdonia National Park is dominated by Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1,085m above sea level. From the summit there are spectacular panoramic views of the valley below and on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Ireland.
