School History Trips to Munich
Chart the rise of Hitler and the Nazis
A city where the traditional and the contemporary sit side by side, Munich is full of charm. From its Bavarian customs to its place in the rise of National Socialism, Munich is a city that’s home to wide-stretching and complex historical moments.
On a history trip to Munich, students can chart the rise of Hitler and the Nazis at the many Third Reich sites and, in contrast, discover the heroic accounts of human behaviour, including the story of Hans and Sophie Scholl who helped create the White Rose resistance group to Nazism.
