4 European Championship 2024 Stadiums Your School Can Tour!

Get ready for a summer of iconic sport with the European Championships 2024 in Germany part of everyone’s calendar, with Rayburn having the perfect opportunity to get your school and students that little bit closer to the magic.

Our Football Tours to Germany can include a stadium tour to any of the 4 stadia that will be used in the tournament this June, with them including Champions League history and England matches, meaning your pupils get the chance to walk in the footsteps of their footballing idols.

Schalke’s VELTINS-Arena (Arena AufSchalke)

Schalke 04 have won Germany’s top league the Bundesliga 7 times, which is only one behind Borussia Dortmund (more on them later). Their stadium can seat a massive 62,271 spectators, with the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final hosted there and 4 Euro games also scheduled, one being England’s opening match of the tournament!

A guided tour will see your class tap into the spirit of Schalke by seeing their press room, retractable roof, museum, and changing rooms, really getting into the story of the stadium and the team.

Cologne’s RheinEnergieSTADION (Cologne Stadium)

Welcome to one of the most beautiful sporting backdrops in Germany, the home of FC Koln (or FC Cologne in English), who were the first-ever team to win the Bundesliga. There are 50,000 seats and the perfect blend of history and modernity in this ultra-slick football ground. Hosting 5 Euro matches, surely the stand-out is England v Slovenia on the 25th of June, but we’ll let you and your class decide that.

Your pupils will get the chance to walk down the tunnel, sit in the coach’s seat, and get up close to where players like Harry Kane will sit this summer, the changing rooms! Fortuna Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena (Dusseldorf Arena)

Just a showcase of the scale and quality of Germany’s football stadia is Fortuna Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena, who are currently in the 2. Bundesliga but can offer a 54,600-seater stadium!

Their home’s hosting 5 European Championships 2024 football matches.

Ready for an iconic European ground? Say hello to Signal Iduna Park, the home of Borussia Dortmund, which is one of the largest stadiums in Europe as well as the biggest in Germany with 81,365 seats, so you can expect scale and jaw-dropping moments aplenty!

Hosting 6 Euro matches, which include fixtures with the Euro 2020 champions Italy and 2022 World Cup finalists France, there are sure to be magical and memorable moments this summer.

Of course, your class will see the player’s rooms and walk next to the pitch and walk down the narrowest tunnel in Bundesliga football, but a real highlight is seeing the legendary South Stand, which is also known as the “Yellow Wall”.

To really develop your squads talent we can book your class to train with the pro coaches from the club, with your students training like pros in some of the best football facilities in the world. There’s also the option for matchday tickets if they’re available.
