Field Study Tutors

Bring geography to life with a Field Study Tutor

For extra support and geographical expertise

Our geography trips are designed to work successfully as independently-led tours, but if you’re after some on-hand support and extra geographical know-how, our specialist Field Study Tutors (FSTs) are just the people.

Field Study Tutors are our unique geography experts who know everything there is to know about your destination. Not only can they offer a reassuring ‘arm around your shoulder’ from the moment you arrive, but they can provide strong support and have the geographical expertise to really bring the landscape to life.

Our Field Study Tutors are available in all of our geography tour destinations. Speak to a member of our team about integrating the services of a Field Study Tutor on your next tour.

A Field Study Tutor will:
  • Have a background in geography teaching and touring to support you in delivering geographical input in-the-field
  • Have in-depth knowledge of your chosen destination and visits
  • Introduce your group to the culture and customs of your destination
  • Be able to assist with logistics on tour to ensure everything runs smoothly

Our FST’s knowledge of Iceland was second to none and his passion and enthusiasm for geography was infectious. A ‘proper’ geographer in every sense of the word.
