History School Trips to
New York and Washington, USA

Vibrant, thriving and rich in cultural markers, the cities of New York and Washington are steeped in social, military and political history.

With American history regularly featuring on the exam board and more time being given to the Cold War, a two-centre history school trip to New York and Washington is becoming increasingly useful for budding historians.

Washington offers a host of impressive sights, allowing students to explore everything from the years of political history within the White House and its visitor centre, to the moving stories of those who served the American nation and laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Teamed with the fascinating history and world-renowned sights of New York, a diverse melting pot of cultures, students will enjoy a history trip like no other with that All-American experience.

Students of American political history may also fancy a visit to Philadelphia to get to grips with the harsh reality of the Civil War or, alternatively, a day trip to Gettysburg.
