Karaiskakis Stadium Tour

Home to the Greek football club Olympiacos FC, the stadium opened in June 2004 and was one of the stadiums used during the 2004 Olympics.

It was named after George Karaiskakis, hero of the Greek War of Independence, who was mortally wounded near the area.

Alongside 28 other European stadiums, the Karaiskakis Stadium is classified as a 5-star football stadium by the UEFA organisation, allowing it to host the UEFA Europa League Final if chosen. In terms of scale, the stadium hosts 40 VIP lounges and suites, a press conference hall, an entire shopping mall with restaurants, cafes, retail and clothing stores, a gym and a museum dedicated to the history of Olympiacos CFP.
