Pigeon Island National Park

Pigeon Island National Park

Formerly a hideaway for pirates as well as a military base, Pigeon Island national park is now arguably the most important historical site in St Lucia.

Visitors will find many old buildings, from colonial forts – the site of fighting between the French and British – to American WWII communication stations. At the top of Signal Hill, there are also spectacular views all the way to neighbouring island Martinique.
