Sample Itinerary

Day 1

After flying in to Reykjavík-Keflavík Airport, your Icelandic adventure begins! From the airport, you'll board the coach and set off to explore the fascinating city of Reykjavik. You'll have the opportunity to visit Perlan to admire 360 degree views from the water tower, take a trip to Tjorn to enjoy the pretty city pond, and visit to Hallgrimskirkja Church, a building that's truly spectacular in its architecture.

Day 2

Your day will begin with a dip in the lesser-known Secret Lagoon. This natural hot spring is amongst the oldest in Iceland and offers a truly authentic and unique bathing experience.

Feeling refreshed, you’ll embark on the Golden Circle tour beginning with Iceland's most famous waterfall, Gullfoss. Next, all of your senses will be brought to life with a visit to the Geysir geothermal area, where the main attraction of the erupting Strokkur Geysir never fails to impress.

A trip to Thingvellir National Park will follow, home to some of Iceland's most spectacular landscape and unique geographical features. This is nature at its very best.

Day 3

Today you’ll spend the day on the south coast, starting with a visit to Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the falls and stroll in front of the uplifted cliffs to the hidden waterfall.

You’ll continue on to Ejyafjallajokull Visitors’ Centre for a first-hand account of the 2010 eruption. Next stop is Reynisfjara’s black sand beach with its iconic basalt column cliffs. You’ll then head to Sólheimajökull, where you’ll walk to the snout of this rapidly retreating glacial tongue to learn about the glacier’s ice, its movement and rate of retreat.

The last visit of the day will be Skogafoss. Admire its wide curtain of water cascading from a height of 62m, which often displays a beautiful rainbow due to the huge amount of spray (cameras at the ready!).

Day 4

Say your final farewells to Iceland as you pack up and head out to the airport for your flight back home.
